Portable Appliance Testing Reference Data

The Portable Appliance Testing reference data window can be accessed by navigating to Health and Safety > Portable Appliance Testing > Portable Appliance Testing.

Note: You must have a role with the PortableApplianceTestReferenceData permission to access this window.

The following reference data is available:

Use this reference data to record portable appliance testing statuses, which are used against each individual test, as well as the Overall Status, to determine whether the test has passed, failed or been skipped.

PAT Status reference data

Use this reference data to set limits to be recorded against each individual test, detailing the limit the result must not surpass.

Note: The records in the unit of measurement drop-down field can be defined in Measurement Unit Types reference data (accessed by navigating to Functions > Core > Reference Data > Core).

Result Item Limit reference data

Use this reference data to define the schedule that the appliance will need inspecting on. This is a numerical value recorded in months.
